Scott practices Lemon Law/Warranty defense, representing RV, automobile and watercraft manufacturers and their dealers, against breach of warranty claims under the Florida Lemon Law, the federal Magnuson Moss Warranty Act, and Florida’s Uniform Commercial Code. Mr. Powell also regularly defends against Deceptive Unfair Trade Practice Act claims, fire and accident based subrogation cases, other statutory consumer actions including premises liability and insurance defense.
